Good Solutions
Good Solutions can only be achieved by good sound financial planning. In order to be able to help you implement your aims our advisors will engage with you to understand your concerns and ascertain your goals.
We can then work with you to find solutions whether it is in a specific area or in your overall planning.
Open Market Option (OMO)
If you smoke, take medication, had a serious illness or have been hospitalised for health issues the above OMO is a facility to get a better pension than what is being offered by your current pension provider(s). It is available through IFA's such as ourselves. See more about this in the pensions section above. For a copy of "Making Your Retirement Choices" by The Pensions Regulator email us via the contacts page.
Changes to Pension Rules
From 6 April 2010 the age from which pension benefits can be taken was raised from 50 to 55. If you did take all or some the tax free cash element or income, you need to contact us as the rules for taxation of pensions with regard to death have changed.

New ISA Contribution Limits
As from 6 April 2011 the level for ISA contributions was raised for each individual to £10,680. A maximum of £5,340 can be in a cash ISA. It is also possible to transfer cash ISA's into stocks and shares ISA's if you are not happy with returns you are getting. A caveat to this is, there are risk factors if selecting this option and getting advice is recommended.
